Bifenthrin (Brigade, Tundra)

(IRAC Group 3 Insecticides). Bifenthrin-based insecticides are broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticides with contact and stomach action. They are registered for use on pears. Both products are restricted-use product due to toxicity to fish and other aquatic organisms. Bifenthrin is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment and residues on plants. Use recommendations are generally limited to before bloom in Pennsylvania to conserve Stethorus and other predators of European red mite.
