Devrinol (napropamide)
Devrinol is a selective systemic preemergent herbicide, absorbed by the roots. It controls most grasses and some annual broadleaved weeds when applied to the soil surface in the fall through early spring. Spring applications must have rainfall or irrigation within 24 hours to move the herbicide into the seed germination zone. Combine with low rates of a broadleaved herbicide for broad-spectrum control. It can be used on newly planted trees and is particularly useful on light soils.
