Permethrin (*Ambush, *Pounce)
Permethrin is a nonsystemic pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach action, having a slight repellent effect. The compound is registered for use on apples, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and pears (prebloom only). Ambush or Pounce are generally not recommended after bloom to prevent outbreaks of European red mite.
